Laois Credit Unions is a development group for Credit Unions in Co Laois, established since 2001.
The aim of the group is to foster co-operation among Credit Unions in Laois, particularly in the areas of marketing, sponsorship and training.
The group is perhaps best known for its sponsorship of the Laois GAA County Championships and Leagues, both hurling and football. Other sponsorships have included Laois Athletics, Laois Red Cross, Laois Special Olympics and Laois Cycling as well as support for individual projects.
The members of Laois Credit Unions are the credit unions from Abbeyleix, Durrow, Mountmellick, Portarlington, Portlaoise and Rathdowney.
